Seeking Volunteers for Show Nights
(From our front of house and concessions teams) It takes a village to put on the show every night, and we can’t do it without you! We would be so grateful if you can join us for some evenings this summer to help make magic on the hillside. We need lots of help: helping with concessions, running our chair rental and return table, keeping our hillside clean, and hosting our generous sponsors on their corporate nights. We ask volunteers to join us any Thursday through Sunday night through Saturday, August 15th.

ZTP Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with Zilker Theatre Productions is a great way to give back to the community and an opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, and have a whole lot of fun while supporting this uniquely Austin tradition!
We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, and we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels! We need many volunteers each night of our production to help with concessions, keeping the hillside clean, accepting donations, and helping guests front of house.
Have a theatrical or non-profit background and want to help? Reach out through our contact methods below! We’re looking for board and committee members, plus designers and crew position in the pre- and post- season, too.
Summer Musical
Our front-of-house and concessions volunteers create a welcoming environment for our guests and provide excellent customer service. They help get everyone seated, set up concessions, answer questions about the show, and clean up the Hillside afterwards.
Backstage Crew
Our backstage volunteers are the unsung heroes of the Summer Musical! They help with set construction, costumes, lighting, and sound. If you have a passion for theatre production and enjoy hands-on work, we would love to have you on our team.
Board Committees
