Where We Stand Financially: A Transparent Update

As we work to keep the magic of Zilker Theatre Productions alive, we want to provide an update on where we stand financially and the steps we’ve taken to move forward.

The Good News

Thanks to your support, we were able to complete payment to our incredible cast and crew of over 90 people for Legally Blonde the Musical. Additionally, we’re thrilled to announce that HEB has stepped in as a sponsor!

Challenges & Solutions

While we still have a few outstanding vendor payments, we’re actively pursuing grants, sponsorships, and donor support to carry us over the threshold. In the meantime, we’ve made significant cost-saving adjustments:

Brought on two volunteer directors: Amy Oxley (Artistic Director) and Austin Sheffield (Executive Director).

Moved out of our warehouse, cutting a major expense.

Held costume, set, and prop sales to reduce costs further.

What’s Next

We’re organizing fundraising events this winter and summer to support our 2025 production. Follow along as we update our financial thermometer to track progress toward our goals.
