Our Commitment to Accessibility and Inclusion
Zilker Theatre Productions (ZTP) is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all patrons to enjoy our summer productions. We offer a variety of services to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the Zilker Summer Musical.
Wheelchair Accessibility:
- Designated wheelchair seating is located at the front of the stage.
- Staff members are available to assist with seating and any other needs.
ASL Interpretation:
- American Sign Language interpretation will be available for select performances. We will update this page when those dates are determined for current show year.
- Reserved seating near the interpreters is available. Our staff can assist you.
Audio Description Services:
- The City of Austin offers audio description services for visually impaired patrons.
- To request this service, please contact 512-974-3914.
Sensory-Inclusive Performances
In partnership with local neurodivergent friendly non-profits, like ACES, during our show run we host sensory-inclusive nights.
- During these performances, the following resources will be available for Autistic and Neurodivergent guests:
- Quiet cooldown space
- Fidgets and sensory tools
- Reserved lawn seating near the sensory room
